What is reiki and what does a session feel like? +
Reiki is a gentle energy practice where the practitioner rests their hands lightly on or just above the body to encourage relaxation and a sense of balance. Most people describe it as deeply calming, some feel warmth or tingling, others simply drift. There's no pressure or manipulation of muscles.
Do I need to undress for a reiki session? +
No. Reiki is done fully clothed, so wear something comfortable. You'll lie on the massage table under a blanket and can close your eyes and rest the whole time.
How long is a reiki session? +
Reiki runs from 30 minutes up to 1 hour 30 minutes, from $75. A 60-minute session is a good first choice if you'd like enough time to fully unwind.
